Former Deputy Arrested in Assault Investigation
Former Deputy Justin Woods has been arrested and charged with Battery, Simple Assault, and Violation of Oath of Public Officer.
Suggested:
Grantville City Councilor David Clark stood up for the opening prayer and pledge of allegiance. However, appeared to seriously disrespect our nations flag.
At Monday’s Grantville City Council Meeting on March 24, 2025, the Mayor and City Council stood for the opening prayer and pledge of allegiance. At least all appeared to do just that except for one. Councilor David Clark didn’t turn to face the flag as all other elected officials did.
Councilor Clark then appeared to check his watch for the time. This appears to be a huge disrespect for our nation’s flag. What were Councilor Clark’s intentions? What was so important about the time that Clark disrespected our nation’s flag.
Did Clark attempt to silently protest something? As a picture and a video can say 1000 words, what does this say to the people of Grantville? Was Clark protesting president Trumps organization of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)? Does Clark even care about our nation’s flag?
Also appears that all the other council members, including the mayor is dressed for the meeting. Clark appears to take no pride in his appearance while sitting as a council member.
This is horrible disrespect to Ole Glory and the people. People, your voice and vote count at the next city council elections.
